The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) announced yesterday that members have ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the Indiana Southern Railroad (ISRR).
The five-year contract governs rates of pay, benefits and work rules for 17 members, including locomotive engineers and conductors.
The BLET's ISRR membership belongs to Division 270 in Washington, Indiana.
A Genesee & Wyoming Inc. property, ISRR operates 196 miles of track between Indianapolis and Evansville, Indiana. It handles primarily coal and agricultural commodities, and interchanges with CSX, Norfolk Southern Railway and the Indiana Rail Road Co.
