CSX Corp. is in the process of selling 176 miles of rail lines in Alabama and Georgia to HGS Railway Holdings Inc., according to a notice filed with the Surface Transportation Board.Once acquired, the rail lines will be operated by HGS subsidiaries HGS-ATN and HGS-FCR as Class III railroads.HGS-ATN is acquiring 121 miles in Alabama, which will be leased to Alabama & Tennessee River Railway LLC. HGS-FCR is acquiring 55 miles in Atlanta, which will be leased to Fulton County Railway LLC.
