The Port Authority of Allegheny County this month is seeking feedback on its NEXTransit plan to identify public transit needs in Pittsburgh through 2045.

Authority officials will use NEXTransit to prepare for future growth by identifying transit investments that integrate with regional plans and goals. The plan also will provide a roadmap for where the port authority will focus its energy and resources, authority officials said in a press release.

The port authority operates 26 miles of light rail in and its surrounding suburbs.
