R. J. Corman taps Campian for VP role

R. J. Corman Railroad Group LLC has hired Alin Campian to serve as vice president of commercial strategy and yield management.

A business development and finance leader, Campian has more than 15 years of experience maximizing return-on-investment in infrastructure, logistics and transportation space, R. J. Corman officials said in a press release.

He previously worked for Steel River Transport Ventures, Patriot Rail Co., Florida East Coast Railway and CSX.

Campian's expertise covers asset yield management and optimization yield maximization, merger and acquisition strategy, pricing and profitability management, quantitative market analysis, and segmentation and strategic pricing and product positioning.

"Alin will work closely with our customers and management team to develop solutions for their needs as well as analyze traffic to create efficiencies for our company and customers," President Ray Goss said. "His experience will add value to our operations on multiple levels."
