TekTracking LLC has installed its gate light monitor at a Canadian Class I rail crossing. TekTracking’s gate light monitor is a patent-pending sensor platform used to measure and verify the operation of gate arm lights used in grade crossings. The monitor generates alarms based on anomalies or equipment malfunctions, according to a company press release. 

Stonebriar Commercial Finance promoted Jeff Griffin to managing director of rail leasing. He will oversee market share growth of rail-car leasing clients and place Stonebriar’s recent rail-car order, which will be delivered over the next four years, company officials said in a press release.

Ridgewood Infrastructure LLC and Savage Enterprises LLC announced the formation of Transportation Infrastructure Partners LLC, a joint venture partnership focused on acquiring and operating transportation and logistics infrastructure throughout the United States. Savage will be the operator of investments made by the venture.

WSP USA promoted Rich Driggs from president of property and buildings to chief operating officer. The company also named Andrew Esposito chief financial officer and Steve Summers, senior vice president and director of project excellence and delivery. Prior to joining WSP, Esposito served as the director of group finance operations at a technology firm. Summers will be responsible for project management advancement, performance, execution and delivery. He also will reinforce the firm’s commitment to health, safety, environment and quality. Previously, he was VP of project delivery at an international engineering services firm.

TKDA hired Khy Lim as a senior project manager. Lim has nearly 30 years of project experience, predominantly in intermodal and auto rail yard design projects. Clients have included BNSF Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad, TKDA officials said in a press release. Lim also designed the repair and replacement of asphalt pavements, trackage and concrete crane runways for intermodal and auto facilities in Los Angeles and San Bernardino, California.
