The Regional Transportation District of Denver's (RTD) board last week identified three candidates as finalists in the agency's search for its next chief executive officer and general manager.

The finalists being considered out of more than 58 applicants are:

Debra Johnson, deputy CEO at Long Beach Transit in California; Adelee Le Grand, former chief mobility officer at the Transit Link Authority in the Atlanta region and former chief strategy officer for New Orleans Regional Transit Authority through contract agreements with Transdev North America; and Tina Quigley, former CEO for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.

Later this month, the public and RTD employees will have the opportunity to learn more about each finalist and provide feedback through an online survey after hearing the finalists’ vision for the agency in taped video presentations.

A final selection is expected to be made by the end of the month.

Currently, Paul Ballard is leading RTD. In February, he assumed the role on an interim basis after former CEO and GM Dave Genova retired in January.
