Rail News: Security

An early-bird discount to attend the Secure Rail 2017 conference will expire later this month.

Secure Rail will be held April 5-6 in Orlando, Fla. The registration fee is $749 through Jan. 27. After that date, the fee will increase to $949.

This year's conference theme is "Protection, Prevention and Planning for the Future." The event is the only conference that addresses North American rail security from an organizational perspective on both physical and cybersecurity.

Conference speakers will include industry experts who will discuss the latest risks and threats to physical and cybersecurity, how to anticipate future threats, and other topics including managing and protecting employees, passengers and assets.

The 2017 conference will be held in a new venue: the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando. More than 20 scheduled conference sessions continue to be a vital part of the show, along with networking opportunities.
