Left to right, Hal Valeche and Esteban BovoPhoto – SFRTAThe South Florida Regional Transportation Authority's (SFRTA) board last week elected Hal Valeche to serve as chair and Esteban Bovo as vice chair.
Palm Beach County Commissioner Valeche was appointed to SFRTA's board by the Palm Beach County Commission in June 2018. He also serves on the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency.
The Miami-Dade County Commissioners appointed Commissioner Bovo to serve as their representative to SFRTA's board in June 201. He chaired SFRTA's board from July 2018 to June 2019.
SFRTA operates the Tri-Rail commuter-rail service that connects Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida.
