The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) has completed renovations to the Gresham City Hall MAX light-rail station.

The improvements include various safety and security upgrades, as well as improved lighting and new tactile warning strips on platform edges, TriMet officials said in a press release.

Crews also installed new TransitTracker monitors, which provide riders with real-time arrival information.

TriMet's workers began the station rehabilitation in January as part of a series of improvements to MAX stations along the original Eastside Blue Line.

In total, the agency is renovating 14 Blue Line stations between the Hollywood/Northeast 42nd Avenue Transit Center in Portland and the Cleveland Avenue station in Gresham.

The next Blue Line station scheduled for upgrades is the East 122nd Avenue Station in Portland.
